Naming Convention:

  • “P” denotes European standard vessel steel plate, indicating compliance with European standards.
  • “355” signifies that the yield strength of the steel plate is not less than 355 MPa.
  • “N” indicates the delivery condition as normalized. Normalization is a heat treatment process that improves the microstructure and properties of the steel plate.
  • “L1” designates the steel plate as a low-temperature quality grade, enabling it to maintain good performance in low-temperature environments without easy brittle fracture.
