2.Why Choose our A387 Grade 22 Class 1 Steel Plates?

High-Temperature Strength:Yield strength ≥310 MPa and tensile strength 515-690 MPa under long-term service below 500°C.

Creep Resistance:Controlled grain size and precipitation phase distribution effectively suppress creep deformation under sustained stress, maintaining dimensional stability of equipment.

Corrosion Resistance:Chromium-molybdenum alloy forms a dense oxide film to resist corrosive media such as H₂S and CO₂, excelling in refinery hydroprocessing units.

Workability:Excellent impact toughness (≥94 J) and weldability support on-site welding and repair, suitable for manufacturing complex structures.

3.What is A387 GR 22 CL.1 equivalent to?

ASME standard: SA – 387 GR 22 CL.1. The SA prefix represents a specific material in the ASME standard, and it has the same technical requirements as ASTM A387 GR 22 CL.1.

European standard: 10CrMo9 – 10 (EN 10028). In the European standard system, this steel grade is widely used in the manufacture of pressure vessels and has similar chemical composition and mechanical properties to A387 GR 22 CL.1.

British standard: 622 – 515B. This is the equivalent steel grade in British standards, which is also applicable to the field of high – temperature pressure vessels and has certain similarities to A387 GR 22 CL.1.

French standard: 12CD9 – 10. In the French standard AFNOR 36206, this grade is used for high – temperature resistant alloy steel plates, which is equivalent to A387 GR 22 CL.1.

Russian standard: 10Kh2M. In the Russian GOST standard system, this steel grade is used in similar applications and has a certain equivalence to A387 GR 22 CL.1.

4.What is the temperature range for ASTM A387 Grade 22 Class 1?

It is suitable for use in the temperature range of approximately -29℃ to 593℃. This steel grade has good creep resistance and strength retention at high temperatures, enabling it to maintain reliable performance within this temperature range.
